$299 for the gpsmap64ST or 64S ..the ST probably won't last long.

geez I watched the video above again after finding the sale ad. Thanks for the link. I can't seem to find a definitive answer in the forums on exactly which maps work and don't work for unlocking on the 64. I'm assuming older topo canada maps and other older topo or bluechart will unlock/work, right? What about the current version of CNNA or the newer bluechart maps? I'm thinking these are ones that don't work yet, even with the mapsigpatch unlock.

My hope is that this will not be a problem in the future, but i've been burned in the past on other electronic devices (phones, routers, etc) where hacks and aftermarket projects never panned out or were abandoned.
