Unfortunately probably not. This thread is devoted to possible and known conversions for devices using Garmin's proprietary firmware which is in the form of .BIN files compiled in either .RGN or .GCD file containers. DS65 instead uses .UPDATE files for it's firmware and may not be manipulated in the same way we can manipulate .RGN and .GCD files.

Are u sure Drivesmart 65 has .update files , then it might be running android. I have a DS 65 with me, I will try to grab its update file and give it a try.

Garmin does not host Firmware/Software for later devices like they did with older devices publicly ,you have to use Garmin Express or WiFi to update them.
