Has the OP Scanned his computer for Virus ? Current definition files.
It is webinterface javascript idea from Garmin what it get a device ID from garmindevice.xml and search the data for device in server base after it. May be something is wrong with device ID on Nuvi in garmindevice.xml or Garmin database?
