Here are the steps I used to change my US firmware to PH firmware (followed the steps provided by TurboCCC) for nuvi 2595LM:
Convert to PH firmware from US gps units
1. File->Open and select US firmware GCD
2. Click the Save button in the boot.bin section (the first on top) and save it to boot_us.bin
3. File->Open and select PH firmware GCD ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
4. Click the Load button in the boot.bin section (the first on top) and load boot_us.bin (the one saved in step 3)
5. Notice the HWID and SW Version from this boot.bin and copy those numbers in the Overrides section. Enable the checkboxes and put the numbers from boot.bin.
6. File->Save to GCD) and select GCD file name.
7. Copy GUPDATE.GCD to your GPS (.System folder) and reboot. Can anyone tell me how this is different from the RGN fw flashing?
It will tell you that the current software is latest and ask you to overwrite with an old one. I just clicked YES.
Any step I am missing why JCV seems not to be working still in my 2595LM with 25xx PH fw?

I have to give up on making the ph JCV work for US nuvi 2595.
I have tried to use the PH and SG/MY firmware and using the US boot.bin but end up having the SOFTWARE MISSING message. I tried a couple of times to do the RGN method but no success.
If I use the PH and SG/MY fw only as boot.bin, the GPS will hang in loading software.
So there is no luck here. :-(
