1.) Create cure with kunix tool

2.) Create backup of nuvi when you have mass storage access, if you don't have it

3.) Always after you use cure FW format nuvi with RMPREPUSB

4.) Add back backup if you have it. If you don't have it Create empty folder with name Garmin and turn off and back ON nuvi and you will have garmindevice.xml inside. ( if you have garmindevice.tmp just rename it to garmindevice.xml)

5.) Run webupdater and download all

6.) Use cure tool again, create ORIGINAL FW and flash in pre boot.

This procedure will save your time and headache

I did all above described until step 5 but my device (nuvi 1350) just don't create garmindevice.xml file under Garmin folder. I don't have a backup. Thx

Mod Note by Neil: Loly had accidentally reversed the final steps in the quote above. You must flash original fw in pre-boot prior to booting to creating GarminDevice.xml and then running WebUpdater. See tut now corrected by him in preceding post.
