I think it seems like they do on factory-default 34/35xx. It maybe is to do with changes caused by conversion 37>34xx? I have an interesting situation with my 3490 convert showing similar accuracy to my 3590. But the 3590 was bought by me as 'partly-bricked' and although technically 2nd-hand it was brand-new. It had been mucked around with by someone and they mustn't have been game to take it to Garmin under warranty. It had a lot of corrupted files with weird names which wouldn't delete so i re-formatted to start again. Then I found fw problems so used cure3 and it worked fine. But i never got to see if it's original accuracy was 3-4 metres like an original factory 'out-of-the-box' 3490. Instead, it's as i reported in the side-by-side with the 37>3490 in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], both were generally 4-8m. Sometimes they get 3m or even 10m, but i've never had 15-20m reported by some. I'll do Loly's reset on both the 3490 convert and the 3590 then re-test and report when i have time.
