Thread: About 37xx converted to 34xx satellites reception accuracy

Some info from my observations.
GPS accuracy compensation table. Where this data is stored? I think this data can be stored only in NVRAM (region 41). I have Nuvi 3790 flashed to 3490, and I never have had accuracy problems. For some time my Nuvi was with original (3790) region 41 but after some time I flashed region 41 from 3490. Still no problems with accuracy, despite the compensation data changed (I think so).

Accuracy in 37>34 maybe less than in 3790 but I never have had any problems. I also have Nuvi 350 which initially had accuracy about 10 meters but after some firmware updates accuracy increased. On this model it's possible to turn on/off WAAS/EGNOS . After turning it on accuracy sometimes decreases. In new models there is no such feature like turning on/off WAAS/EGNOS. Maybe because now WAAS/EGNOS is widely available.
BTW I also few times erased region 41 and this didn't reflect on accuracy.
