Thread: Modding a Thai nuvi 3770 to be able to use Ecoroute HD dongle

Hi and Merry Xmas.

I have posted here before but with my nuvi 3790T unit where I had loaded a US 34xx firmware and somehow lost some of the features of my Thai FW 3790 which most importantly was that the screen would turn to "portrait" mode and wouldn't switch back to "landscape" mode and unable to use the Junction View and 3D building views.

Anyway, now I have my out of warranty nuvi 3770 unit with software version 2.40 which I would like to try to cook up a custom FW to use the regular Thai FW features and add the ability to pair the Garmin EcoRoute HD bluetooth dongle to my 3770.

Has anyone tried this before? I tried searching the older posts but no mention of the nuvi 3770 here.
