Hi all,

I'm sure these answers are out there somewhere but I've been searching for two days and there is so much information around that I'm having trouble remembering what I've already read.

1) I just bought a Nuvi 3790LMT, this is a refurb. that I got for a great price and did not want to spend the extra $170 for the 3490. I cannot get my unit to find anything while attempting to find a phone in BT settings. I can see my GPS in my phone and when I try to pair I get an invalid pin error, but it never asks for a pin. I'm running Android 4.0.1 and looking for any suggestions or tricks that may help to get these paired.

2) The main reason I would want to step up to the new 3490 is for Smartphone Link and I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to get this software onto the 3790? I would use "transform 37xx to 34xx" but I'm afraid I will loose my lifetime maps. I think if I could just get them to pair through BT I may be able to push from Google Maps to the GPS regardless of the SL software, in which case I wouldn't need it.

Any help is greatly appreciated - Thank you!
