I posted this question [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], but was advised to post it here too:
I have a nüvi 250 with HWID 0834 and FW 3.80 but there's no GUPDATE.GCD file in the Garmin folder. I believe this FW version has not been shared here yet. Any way I can extract the FW file from this unit and share it at GPS Power?

SF, do you still have this unit with V3.80 on it? I too would be interested to obtain a copy of that version. Giomen's answer to you in the previous thread about obtaining copies of regions 12 & 14 [boot.bin and fw_all.bin respectively] is only partly helpful because although 14 can be dumped successfully from 2x0/2x0W units, region 12 dumps but is empty so i believe it's protected. Region 5 dumps but is not a complete 'boot.bin' of course, and also there's the question of what you'd to use as ldr.bin in any case as raised by Giomen. kunix's or similarly qualified help is needed with this i believe and maybe open forum isn't the place for talk of ways to overcome dumping protected regions anyway

Hi to all.
I have 3770V with 2.6 firmware and I can`t copy Region41 like I copy from my 3490 and 3790. Is there any spacial procedure for copying region41 from this 3770V?
The other strange thing is that I can`t update the software version form 2.6 to the last one, and there is no UPDATE.GCD fail in .System directory too.
Can you advise me how to copy the Region41 from my 3770V?
