Can someone please tell me how to downgrade to 5.00. I`ve used wepupdater but the 2585 didn`t recognize the firmware to install.

Which error do you get ? What do you mean with "didn't recognize" ?

I dont get an error. Webupdater loads the file in \Garmin\Update folder. This works perfect with 5.30 and also with the 5.00. After that i disconnect the USB and the Navi restarts. The 5.00 Firmware isnt recognized as Firmware to Update but the 5.30. Means uploading the 5.00 and 5.3 to the 2585tv works but only the 5.3 has the effect 2585tv is entering the flashing mode.
Is there a file i've to edit that prevents flashing an older Firmware? I've found something in the web editing system.xml with a lower Firmwarenumber like 4.3. But this wont work on the 2585.
