v2.30 has a different HWID (504, EU model). I don't know if 265 and 504 can be use interchangeably.
Region 0x11 contains voices, right.

Yes, you would have to flash a patched fw_all.bin. But I'm not sure which one will fit your US model. Actually we can safely try different fw_all.bin's by packing them and using as boot.bin in GCD file.
