    Default New firmwares

Garmin rolled some fw updates for my 1390 and 765.
On 1390 there is just some minor fixes (besides cutting the speedcamera capability in France). But on 765, one of the changes brought by ver 4.40 provides "support for a second map on SD card". That's nice, it would be even nicer if it was supporting unlimited maps like the 1390 does...
Anyway, what is the proper name for the second map now?

I think there is no variant in new SW: after reading SW source for 765 I finded only Supplemental Maps 1 - gmapsup1.img...

Unlimited maps would be ideal, but I hope at least the added support for a second map on an SD card is in the next version of nuvi765_HWID1007_TWN firmware.

What is the best firmware that can be put on a nuvi 255,265?

Sorry I did not know where to ask this question. When I saw the thread "new firmware" I thought you might help.

That's EXACTLY what I stated on my previous post:
"one of the changes brought by ver 4.40 provides "support for a second map on SD card"".

Where is the contradiction??? And you give me a negative rep just because you didn't bother to read my previous post?
