The cure fw cannot boot. it's meant to enable you to see the internal files system in Windows Explorer. See Post #1 of the thread. You how need to correctly format it to FAT32 using RMPrepUSB [if you haven't already done so]. Then flash the full original fw so the unit can fully boot [1xxx can boot without internal files]. Then run WebUpdater to replace essential files, then add your maps back. You'll need a basemap and detail map/s, all are available in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or if you have Lifetime maps or paid recently for an new map you can dl it again from Garmin. Thanks a lot for this direction, would you please say how I should go about flashing it, after I've formatted it, which I'm about to do now with RMPrepUSB.
