Yes, I do see more files. I have compressed the directory, but do I paste them to the forum or send to your dropbox somehow?

The batch file said it did, what does the garmin look like when it goes into mass storage mode?

Ok, I worked with kunix quite a bit today and it was suggested the device is not erasing flash regions at all and that I post back here for any further suggestions because the unit is still suffering from the garmin boot loop.

The last step I ran was running a updater with the files from sdcard1: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

The output from to my sdcard was this:

nüvi 13xx Series Software Version 6.10, UID: %SameUID/HWID%, HWID: %SameUID/HWID%
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Parsing "ergn,14"
    Error
    Parsing "ergn,41"
    Error
    Parsing "invalid_line"
    Error: invalid command 'invalid_line'
    Error
    Parsing "reboot"

So my question is, does anyone else have an suggestions on this? Or is it possible to open the Nuvi 1390 up and replace the flash memory or maybe have it work from the micro SD card with some type of boot loader? I'm just throwing anything out at this point because it's not looking good for this 1390 which wasn't dropped. They only bad thing this unit possibly received was exposure to the summer heat from within the car, but I would think most people have left their Nuvi in the car during the heat of summer before. kunix, thanks again for all the time you spent with me today.

I just wanted to respectively ask about my previous post from above about the Nuvi 1390 Garmin boot loop issue. Does anybody else have an other possible suggestions or should I convey that this hardware is beyond fixing. Please see my previous post above on 17-08-2012, 04:38 PM after my sessions working with kunix where it was suggested to ping the forum for any final suggestions. Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do your Nuvi 255 start up finally or no! If no you must tell us that happened before it!

You must install usb drivers from garmin site and then put button for turn on in left and hold it there and updater.exe will see your nuvi.

Please clarify what you've done. And what happened then.
