Enable features in nuvi 22xx, 23xx, 24xx and 24x5 & 25x5

23xx US = 24xx Asian (4.3 inches)
24xx US = 25xx Asian (5 inches)

follow #1 post D/L 23xx series and 1.Unrar the file in an empty SD card(I use sandisk 1G in my moto v3i which is FAT) then step by step.
start Nuvi 2455, NOTHING Happen!! Just normal start. So, I think maybe the SD card problem, then I reformat it in windows 7 using FAT32 and try again, Still....Nothing Happen!! Am I doing something wrong? Also Check: / .System / diag / html / supported_features.html there is no different at all.

If I may, bump what earthlyk posted a few days ago ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). I am new to this, and am having the same exact issues. I own a 2455, and nothing is happening when I follow the instructions. Just a normal boot. System information is as follows:

HW Version: 24x5 C2 iV4
SW Version: 6.30
Firmware: 2.89.00

Dear, all

I have garmin nuvi 2450, but JVC folder is not existed in both system and Garmin folders.

So, do I need to use 24xx file to enable lane assist & junction view feature and then JCV folder will appear.

please do some help for me

It's JCV Folder not JVC (That's a consumer electronics company.)
You can create the folder yourself.

To use the junction view files, drag the entire “JCV” folder into your “Garmin” folder.( x:\Garmin\JCV )
or in Garmin in a subfolder called JCV on the SD Card
or in System hidden directory in a JCV folder

I have copied 3rd file into .system folder in device. So, I see 3rd map in my map selection menu in device , but it does not work.

so, is there away to make 3d map works in nuvi 2450.
