    Even if it shows 37xx it acts like a 34xx.
    Clear non vol as explained, it's important and look better for MTP : read

    Thank you for replying again mate, two questions : 1) You said that I should run Webupdater - By doing this means that I will be updated to 7.60 which in the first post I understood that you recommend to have v7.10 as it is most compatible with features? So should I still run Webupdater?
    2) can you tell me the procedure to install the logo (convert37x34.zip), I may did it wrongly or there is may be another procedure you may know?

    First you enable "new" features (mp3, video, etc) with the xml files (copy all of them together) and then you will use webupdater to update the firmware and all the additional features, downloading the proper files for 34xx (like keyboards etc.).
    Webupdater recognizes your device as 34xx now, and all the files you can see in the additional updates section of webupdater are for a 34xx device.

    With recent firmwares copying .xml files wont enable features, to do it must use sd files or use enable features application.

    Interesting response , thank you. I copied all the xml files on my garmin, now should I do anything on my garmin to enable these features ( click or tick them on settings?) or they automatically recognized-enabled from the first boot since the day I copied them to my device! Also, you said that next I should run webupdater to install some 34xx proper files(keyboards..) BUT this means that I should update to 7.60 or there is way to install the 34xx files without updating? Because, If I remember right , webupdater told me (recognized) that I had a 3760 device but there was an update to continue, which was v7.60= 34xx firmware

    It wont work with sw 7.60 :read my previous post n 741. Use sd to enable features and logo.

    Yes, if you followed my starting post ,you renamed some folders before converting(Text, keyboards etc,) , well you can delete them and run Webupdater to get 34xx ones. Some other needed files Webupdater doesnt download are posted in this thread.

    I already told you, it shows 37xx, but it acts as a 34xx. Because Webupdater reads GarminDevice.xml and it's a 34xx GarminDevice.xml
    Your 37xx doesnt exist anymore, it's a 34xx now. Forget 37xx!.

    1) Webupdater is needed to download files for 34xx, some are different from 37xx ones.
    2) files for sd are the easiest way
    Read post n1 if you prefer an alternative method with updater.exe in preboot mode to flash logo, but with sd files you'll abilitate 34xx features too like mp3 and video player etc.
    Read posts all is explained properly, no need to repeat

    Yes Caty, you're right.
    That's why, when I manually transform a 37xx->34xx I use the old 3.60 firmware for 34xx.

    Ok thanks for replying me, I do realized that I have 34xx software that's for sure but when it starts it shows the Garmin logo and then shows 3760 and also in the about screen it shows again 3760! Is that what it shows to you? Also, can you please pm me or anybody their GarminDevice.xml, I think if I can modified it with someone else that shows correctly the name then it may be fixed!

    @SAVVAS
    GarminDevice.xml recreates itself everytime you restart nuvi, you can edit it ,but it will return to its original version when you restart. You can even delete it and nuvi will rebuild it like it was.

    Converted 37xx to 34xx shows 37xx in Settings/about and in starting screen. There is a quite complicated way to make it show 34xx, but it's completely useless.

    GarminDevice.xml is not to share on public forums because it contains personal maps codes and Nuvi ID. If published someone could clone your nuvi.
