for the ppl who flashed it to 34xx fw, what are the pros an cons? do u find any improvements? will you keep using the 34xx fw or u want to switch it back to 37xx?
just need some answers b4 i play with mine...thanks

Just do it, and decide by your own. I prefer 34xx. But for some people 37xx is better.

For example I prefer asian firmwares (taiwanese specifically) compared to 34xx. Unfortunately, they don't display eu JCV very well. (not possible full happines 34 search menu is very comfusing compared to 37 IMHO and in the far east part of Europe where I live we don't have such HI TECH things as "Digital 3D Traffic" or what ever this is...Don't think we will see something simmilar soon. There are countries where still don't have even TMC...So a vote for Asia

a nice review on 3450 model, im only using a 3750, so far im only seeing improvements on the 34xx model compare to mine, will find out soon enough

Such as much more detailed maps, showing the upcoming street names etc ?

And I thought the traffic firmware is stored in the receiver and not the GPS... correct ?

So we will not get any of the new enhanced traffic features unless we get a GTM-60 receiver ?

How is the traffic function using the GTM-25 that comes with the 3790 working ?

How about the other features? Particularly the detail level of the maps and showing the upcoming streets in the upper bar like the 3790 does ?

And do you think that if I hooked up a GTM-60 traffic receiver that it would provide all of the so-called enhanced traffic such as 3-D ?
