IMHO, best way to update firmware is to download the .gcd from support garmin site origin , put it in an sd and run it, I dont like MyDashboard at all, I heard about too many problems caused by getting sw from it. Originally Posted by dasilvarsa

Moingr has done the GDC file to 5.7 already. Dashboard or Webupdater are needed to get the Gmaptz and the updated voices etc etc. Originally Posted by catymag

Read this whole thread and you'll see voices and timezone updates havent anything to do with RTLTrap error, the problem is in the firmware and deleting gupdate.gcd wont solve anything Originally Posted by dasilvarsa
