This version has problems. It doesn't work. It freezes, reboots in the middle of a find by name search. If you install any other map that didn't come with it, you can't do any searches at all by name. If you want to find Pizza Hut in your area or anything else, it will come up blank. Meaning 0 hits. You are correct about doing large PIO searches that show many results for the same name. But the NT maps work! Which is much more important than finding Pizza Hut. Garmin is working on fixing this problem and I hope they get it corrected.

They say it will be corrected in 2012 maps.

This is a firmware problem that Garmin has to correct. The address search works and the unit does do a reboot but you will not lose your route. A large PIO search will not work. PIO's do show up on the display when zoomed in. Updating the maps will not repair this problem. Just have to wait for another firmware update.
