    Default 3790 in endless boot loop

    If someone could please help. I have a US 3790, just arrived yesterday. I tried to update with Thai firmware 2.10. Now it is stuck in an endless boot loop. I cannot do a hard reset. I have turned it off, then tried putting my finger on both the lower right and the upper left corner while booting, and it doesn't work. It does not show up in Windows Explorer for me to use a cure firmware. What can I do?

    Here is a video of it: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    You don't need cure firmware., you just need original US gupdate.gcd saved to .RGN file by RGN_Tool to flash your US 3790 back to use original firmware.
    Hard reset won't help.

    You need
    1). updater.exe
    Download link ::
    Code:

    2). RGN_Tool ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] )
    3). .RGN file I said above.
    4). Access to pre-boot mode for flashing nuvi back

    But I cannot access the device. It will not let me do a hard reset. It does not show up as a USB device in Windows. Updater says no usb device connected. Even the Garmin website cannot detect the device. What can I do?

    It will not let me do a hard reset --> Hard reset won't help you.

    But I cannot access the device.--> Yes., right ! so I said you have to access pre-boot mode for connection.

    It does not show up as a USB device in Windows--> also right.

    Pre-boot mode
    1). when garmin logo appear., press your finger above "G" of "GARMIN"
    2). you will see a little "system"
    3). now you are in pre boot mode

    0).on computer.,--> drag rgn file on updater.exe., -->select USB
    1).Plug in usb with 3790
    2).access pre boot mode
    3).when you see "system" on 3790., plug in usb into computer
    4).You will see your device detected on Updater.exe
    5).Press OK on updater.exe
    6).Still press your finger till complete updating firmware.

    Good luck

    Guide Make sure the Garmin is not "navigating" when you plug it in

    Mine did the same thing i.e. endless reboot loop when connected to USB, but ONLY if it was navigating to a destination. The solution was to unplug from USB, hit stop then reconnect.

    Try original US gupdate.gcd saved to OUT.rgn & flash again.
