OK thanks Chenliu! I have downloaded the files to my computer. now I have 2 questions:

1 - the file is in Chinese (looking at its name). although i live in china, I am not able to read Chinese that is why i am happy that my map is in English (pinyin). So will updating the SW with the 2.9 SW Version effect the operating language of the Nuvi or the language of the map? Can the nuvi be put back in english operation language?

2 - How to update safely as i do not want a bricked nuvi? do i need extra software to update? could you give me some clear instructions?
