I'm stuck.... I got the cure to work, and my gps (Nuvi 255w) starts up... only problem is it doesn't appear to be able to read .img files (maps won't load; "no detailed maps found...."). So, I tried to update to official firmware, and no Garmin software worked for updating. Then I downloaded the software for my gps, from this website, and tried to use the updater method to flash it (going into preboot mode, installing it), and all's that got me is my gps being unable to load and being stuck in a boot loop again, so consequently I had to flash back to the cure. So now I'm sort of stuck with the cure firmware, which is able to start up and everything, but unable to read maps, so it's basically useless..... suggestions? Any help would be most appreciated
