    Unhappy Montana 650 stuck in "Garmin" screen

    Hi guys,
    please can anyone help?
    I have a Montana 650 and I upgraded the firmware to 5.70.Then decided to upgrade to patched 5.70 in order to load raster images through SAS Planet exported jnx.
    After the update the device is stuck and no message appears on the screen except the Garmin logo.
    Cannot be forced into USB Mass Storage Mode and tried the Forced RGN Firmware Installation without luck (different RGN versions, gets connected, the firmware installs correctly but after reset same problem).
    I'm out of ideas... please help.

    Thanks a lot!
    Managed to get it in Mass Storage mode, awesome tool
    Ready to roll just deleted the firmware from the memory, reverted to Original with GC3 and bingo. Thanks again.
    Also downloaded 5.71 patched firmware ant will try it out.

    Montana original version 5.4 succesfully upgraded with patched version 5.7 by using firmware patcher 3.00.

    The patcher is updated to version 3.10.
    Previously incorrect patching of Edge Touring firmwares was fixed, and works properly now.

    Any advantage like less chance to brick etc to use this patcher over flashing already patched firmware?
    Can this patcher reverse its changes?

    Absolutely none.
    But those already patched firmwares are almost for sure made with the patcher

    No, but it preserves the original firmware file intact, the result of patching is saved in a separate file.

    Installed, first thing i noticed in Main Menu > Settings there is no more "About" button is this normal?
