    timp4411 & tom1807,

What would you wish to be patched in HomePort?

GMA files are not used with g2/g2 Vision maps.
Therefore, how could any firmware update effect the unlocking of g2/g2 Vision maps.
    AND
HomePort will already display locked g2/g2 Vision maps without the need for a UNL file at all.

Although a GPS device will not display a locked g2/g2 Vision map that is on a SD card without a UNL file, as it will show "can not unlock maps."....

... if that same GPS device is connected to a PC via a USB cable, HomePort will happily display that same locked map, without a UNL file, from the same SD card. Also, HomePort will still happily display that same SD card with the same locked map, without a UNL file, if the SD card is connected to a PC via a SD card-to-USB-adapter.
I guess I meant I wanted a way to merely copy the g2 images into HomePort and use them freely without having to hook up any SD card externally via the USB. HomePort recognizes my old regular BlueCharts which I had already loaded into MapSource.

I can live with having to use a small USB Card reader hooked up if I have to... It's just a little easier if I could load them on the Hard Drive on every PC I have.
