    Hi Caty,

perhaps you also can give me a hint how I could use the map with my Garmin eTrex Venture HC?
There is no SD-Card slot or anything, I can just connect the device by USB, but nevertheless it does not appear in Windoz.

    Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately your device has only 24mb of internal memory so really is unsuitable for for displaying .img files of this size.It would be possible to get a copy of City Navigator DVD which you could install on your PC,unlock with jetmouse then transfer a couple of map segments to your gps.I used a Gpsmap 60c which had 56mb in this way for some time b4 I got a larger unit.

Personally,I would use an older version of CN as I think the newer ones have a version of MapSource that does not include the unlock wizard utility and there are less Poi's so it makes the map tiles smaller.you can also make the tile smaller if you elect not to include auto routing info by unchecking the box at the bottom left hand side of the map list column when you send them to your gps.

i cant change to internal gps on my N97. i did up to step 5 using the UNL creator but there is no option to change gps device to my N97 gps. I selected Garmin Mobile XT for Software Product and City Navigator Australia 2008 for Map product in the Garmin Unlock Generator, is this correct?. is there anything i should try differently?

EDIT: I had the 2 UNL files in the wrong place.

how do you set it so that the map is the real thing like on google maps, not just lines and stuff

    Bump...........
