Hi Titanic, tested v2.33 and v2.37 on android 9.0 (android head unit car with chip PX5) resolution 1024x600 and not working.

The same for me with the 23-02-2020 version om Redmi Note 7 Android 9.

Samsung SM-N9600（Note9） Android 9，N9600ZCS4CSKA，2960x1440。
2.33 and 2.37 can be installed and cannot working。
After changing the path to ”storage/emulated/0/Garmin" ，it can work as before。

Samsung Galaxy S8+ "SM-G955FD"
Android 9 One UI v1.0 (updated to the latest patch)

what I did :
1-Used SP path changer "SPPC3.0.1" and changed "Titanic_NEU_StreetPilot_v2.37_signed.apk" path to "storage/emulated/0/Garmin"

2-Moved the new resulted file to phone internal stoarge.

3-Extracted "Garmin" folder from "TitanicOriginal-Garmin_NEU" and manualy moved it to internal stoarge in "Android\data\com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext\files"

4-Install streetpilot using the new file

5-Activated phone GPS

Finding:

a-after installation is completed I used "Open" to start sp and it did run very nice
b-Closing and starting SP no issue so far (SP telling me there is no maps to be loaded)
c-Restart it Phone.
d-Closing and starting SP no issue so far (SP telling me there is no maps to be loaded)

e-Moved my needed files "gmapprom.img","gmapbmap.img",gmap3d.img" and JCV folder to garmin folder.
f-SP crash immediately and hide in the background but by pressing on its icon from the top dropdown twice or more it will run just fine
g-Closing and Restarting it behave as in step "f"

Iam not sure but the map loading process is failing and forcing it to crash and run in the background.

I have tested many releases by "Titanic" and this one is by far the best so I think we are getting close to simple smooth happy StreetPilot

Hi....
I try to install Redmi note8 Android 9 its not working. It's crash.
And I try install in Car Audio run on Android 9. I change path Garmin folder by SPPC 3.0.1 with "/storage/emulated/0/Garmin/".
SP not built Garmin folder on internal memory.

There was no development for android 6 either. Even less so for newer editions.
This is just a great effort by the members.

even got into the trouble of getting fresh new maps for testing these Android versions... they do work but just fall short in terms of usability and (at least in my devices) quite slow

but as Boki said they did a fantastic job making these old apps usable again in newer phones, my congrats to everyone involved

its a pity that Garmin won't release a updated version of this, probably never will, they seem more focused in making stand alone devices now...
