Hello all and so many thanks to all the people that worked hard to make Street Pilot available on regular android devices

Such a shame that Garmin doesn't want to allow regular android users to have access to Street Pilot !
I would be ready to pay the price of a standalone gps device for the app if it was available on play store... never mind !

But it would be so nice to have Street Pilot work on Android 6+ !

As for me, I don't have the skills, but it seems that some XDA gurus have understood and even solved the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for other apps that stopped to work on Android 6. Looks like it is possible to patch and "to reintroduce the old type for "writeString16" for char16_t that is now a default defined type in c11" so the app can work again ?

I don't really understand it ... but maybe all hope is not lost ?

Maybe someone can investigate this ? Or we could ask for help on XDA board ?

Just my two cents
