works well on Dragon Touch 7" ; just choose a pretset from the location changer (/sdcard/android/data....etc) install the modified apk , then move the whole garmin folder from the sdcard folder to the usb storage folder and withstand a crash or 2 at first.

edit:
very memory intensive on the poor phablet; may not be very practical after all

Hi there

Need help. i can open the SP. but i cannot see the map. Did it do something wrong?

what i did on my hTC desire eye, android 5.0.2:
1. download "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]"
2. change path to storage/ext_sd/Garmin by "streetpilot path changer 2.7"

3. install "StreetPilot_2.37_storage_ext_sd_Garmin.apk" (not open)
4. download map [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] from "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]"
5. unzip the "3233284.zip" copy all files to "storage/ext_sd/Garmin/Map/"

6. run program

Did i do something wrong ?

Make a folder Map inside Garmin and put your maps in there.

Good post to read at end of post #1 shows folder structure [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

solved by move Garmin folder to sdcard0 (internal storage).and use apk from 1.

From my experience, the path changer doesn't accept customized pathways that well; just choose one of the provided ones and then install as usual; what I did after that is that I moved the whole folder to the internal memory and it worked; now please bear in mind that my tablet is different than yours.

I've been trying to get this to work on LG Exceed 2 running 4.4.2 KitKat with 800x480. I've used the path changer to make version 2.37 to
1. storage_sdcard0_Garmin
or
2. storage_external_SD_Garmin
I'm using the Garmin data for KitKat and I know it's reading the data correctly when starting up because I can see "Language" has a value to pick from. But under "Voice" I see nothing. And after satellites acquired I don't see any streets. Under mymaps show nothing. Anyone knows what the problem? It's odd that for both internal and external installations same problem.
