I change string for GPS but as you see this trick don't work

If time is not correct then this is reason why no satellite or he will get it after 30 min or more.
This is reason why i post tutorial on previous page how to sync phone clock with atomic clock.

If problem is only in clock then he will get satellite after he will sync.

p.s.
maybe he don't have gmaptz.img in garmin folder or something is wrong with gps chip on device.

Yes, I have switched time format to
match Android and StreetPilot.

Do you maybe have enabled GPS and also GPS over Wifi?
If yes, then try to turn off location over WIFI and try if then you will get satellite lock.
Also try to turn off and on again your device.

Do you have in Garmin/.System/ inside gmaptz.img ( timezone file ) ?

You can also try turn off GPS and only have enabled location over wifi.

It looks like its same problem as member here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Compare pictures. It looks like the sun, moon and red circle missing. We can see 3+ sats with great signal but something still missing. His signal bar is yellow so its time related I think or some kind delay in data, but I am guessing here.

jojoe79, Have you tried other software? Sygic, iGo, Maps...

Yes, I have "gmaptz.img" in path /Garmin/.System

I set location mode use GPS only. and
I turn off Android Phone device and Turn it on.
Open Google map and StreetPilot for wait to get signal from satellite.
Google map can acquiring satellite.
on StreetPilot seem It only see satellites but It can't acquiring satellite (can't locate position)
On Google map can normally navigation.

I test with Sygic. It works.

OK I have tried both versions of the 2.35 install and I still get the upside down screen on my nexus 6. Should the entire folder be deleted after uninstall to clear all settings as I haven't done that yet?
