Just tried lolypop000's instructions above and SP does work on external SD card. A quick play around with the app seems to indicate it performs better with the Garmin folder on external SD card. Smoother and less of the occasional reduced (half) display in Landscape mode. Plus save on phone memory space. Many thanks.
