I've successfully been using a custom gpi with directional alerts on Nuvi2xx and 1xxx but StreetPilot ingnores directional information and sounds off alarms irrespective of travel direction.

Custom? From where? Post your .gpi and I'll look at it.

Ah, data taken from what source? Automated process or done one by one? I've been trying to use decoded Cyclop data and experimenting with circle list and bearing list. Works mostly with few minor exceptions on Street Pilot but I haven't tried it on a real Garmin Nav unit to see if same issue occurred.
Edit: Directional Alert using Cyclop data on android Street Pilot.
Spoiler: .

Made one by one. Manually positioned POI's and alarm circles. Works flawlessly on Nuvi 2xx and 1xxx. The same POI position can be used for entering speed limit zone and exiting it in the opposite direction. This allows for direction-dependent sound and on-screen message for the same POI. Two configuration xml's are required though, one for each direction. At least, that's how I got it working. Built-in sounds are used for alarms as custom wav or mp3 often hangs Nuvi if alarm sound coincides with turn annunciation. Couldn't get it working on SP at all. Tried alarm circles and bearing list separately and in combination - no luck, SP sounds off alarms in either direction.
Just a little Help.
Yesterday I received my new phone Oppo R5 with resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels . Android OS v4.4.4 KitKat with Color OS and no external sdcard.
I am using the kitkat version for emulated/0/android... etc but I am unable to run SP. I can see the Garmin logo and then I am getting Black Screen.
Any clues?
Thanks
Black screen most likely caused by some GPU compatibility issue. No solution![]()
I've finally gotten this running on my Nexes 4 with Lollipop. It seems to be running fine. The only problem I have is that the app doesn't save the setting of the map I want. I have two maps on my phone but after selecting one and leaving the settings menu, it is no longer selected.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Do these maps cover the same area? Beware 2 routable maps covering the same area can't be selected at the same time.
sent with my phone
