Ok downloaded everything from here:

Installed 3d map (unlocked with Protected Garmin File Toolkit). tried in both garmin/.system/ and garmin/map. file is called gmap3d.img
Installed whole NTU (unlocked with Protected Garmin File Toolkit). tried in both garmin/.system/ and garmin/map. File is called gmapprom.img
Installed 40/50 JCV (tried both garmin/.system/JCV or garmin/JCV locations)

Still no 3d map and no JCV.... Except if i should place .img files somewhere else. Both 3d and ntu maps can be seen but cant see any 3d building and no JCV .

Folder structure was already set up for you: garmin/.system/ and garmin/.system/JCV. Possibly the reason you see neither is that there aren't any in your area?? The 40/50 JCV file is a small file and includes the least amount of junction views. Unfortunately the larger JCV files do not work with SP.

Hi, I've worked with Garmin Mob XT on my nokia before and it's pc counterpart Mapsource, but I'm an android noob. I've recently purchased an LG Optimus G Pro E988 and I was wondering will any of the versions posted here would work since it's a snapdragon 600 and resolution of 1920x1080? Also what is the difference between the /mnt, /sdcard0/1 and sdcard ext? Thanx in advance

You will need to install yourself to see. Processor should not be an issue. Resolution may give you small icons but should work.

That is simply the file location where you will place the Garmin folder housing the map, voices, vehicles.... My choice was the external sd card since it had the most amount of available memory. Phones use different locations for internal and external sd cards. You use the version that matches your device.

Edited: It works. I have to copy & rename en_ GB.glx to /data/data/com.garmin..../system/Text/th_TH.glx, edit the file header to follow th_TH_xxx.glx and set the display language to Thai.
