There are 2 models for the Samsung galaxy tab 7" from the brochure I got yesterday.

The LTE model is running 4.2.2 and the WIFI mdel is running 4.1.2, This is confirmed by user zhrd at post 496

Another thing I found is LTE model is using Intel processor but WIFI is using Samsung processor, this could be crucial

as I read from sosaw forum that not all processors work even it is 4.1.x

As regard to vold.fstab , extSdCard is listed fyi

Thanks for your help so far

Sorry, was hoping it could be that simple. Seems like you are truly aware of your situation then.

I dont really understand lots of simple things, like what caused the notifications for "click to continue", or even though I got it working on tab2, but still not able to see the 2 files. Real noob here.
So just guessing since it's a new processor...

Try installing root explorer from the first post. Open it up and hit the "+" and select "# Root Tab". Even though you are not rooted you should still be able to go to data/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/lib and see the 2 files. Many file explorers will not allow you to browse the root of the device.

I have the Root explorer. After "+" and "#Root Tab", once I hit "data" and

' Your device doesn't appear to be rooted. This is required to gain access to protected files and folders such as this... '

    is shown.

The vold.fstab shows ' dev_mount sdcard /storage/extSdCard auto ....' which looks similar to the tab2 which I successfully installed. Sorry for earlier truncated name.

Your device Galaxy tab 3 SM-T210 is not rooted
    You never not will see:
    data/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/lib and see the 2 files the libgmxt.so and libgarminos.so .
    Only devices rooted will see.

After seeing vold.fstab that you sent me for you is working with:
    #storage_struct = series, "/storage/sdcard/extStorages"
    #storage_struct = parallel

    - Galaxy tab 3 SM-T210 storage_struct

    External memory (/storage/extStorages/Garmin)
    or
    Internal memory (/storage/sdcard/Garmin)

    Try for external memory (/storage/extStorages/Garmin)

Tried but no luck. After the 'Garmin by Ora' again it exits to home screen with 'click to continues's
The vold.fstab is similar to Tab2 which I got it working on /storage/extSdCard/Garmin, fyi
Seems to me your apk is ok.

Will try rooting, but EVERY TIME I connect the Tab3 to lappy, the device driver will start loading though successful.
The 2 volumes on windows file explorer, sdcard and tablet, occasionally disappear. That makes me uncomfortable to root as the firmware is >1GB.

Is there any progress of your Galaxy Tab 3 7 to run Streetpilot?

    Does it work finally?

    Sad to say No,

Even rooted the Tab3 and tried almost all Apks, can view the 2 files installed with RE but same Notifications encountered.

Got the LogCat which suggests may be sensors causing it, but unless someone can decipher the LogCat file to find out the reasons.
    Will update if successful.
