I can't get the arabic language on galaxy note II, while it is working fine on galaxy note 10.1
Please help.....
Hi guys,
I'm new to gps in smartphones.
I installed Black Wolf's Garmin StreetPilot 2.16 in Samsung Galaxy S3. After installing, its showing GarminDevice.xml file only in Garmin folder in my device.
I found one folder in web and I put that folder in my sdcard and extSdcard also but my device is not showing any maps. Garmin program opened and I could also change the settings but when I try to
open view map, my car is visible but the map is not visible.
What files do I need ? please anyone provide me the folder as you have.
I have garmin gmapsupp.img and JCV file and 3d files ASR and SQlite files. But I really don't understand how to put that files and where to put them.
I searched so many sites but I really don't understand.
Any help is greatly appreciated..
You need a basemap.
If you read with care post n1 you'll know which files are needed

I have Samsung Galaxy s3 and I have followed all your instruction until street pilot apk file but when using root explorer for libgarminos.so and libgmtx.so when I click on /data its saying that the device is not rooted. I am not sure how I can proceed after that step. Please tell me the steps and the files I should download to proceed with the installation. I also have "extSDCard" which I can use if that is a possible option. But please guide me on this too.
Thank you in advance for your help. I really appreciate your support and guidance.
Unfortunately as I wrote in starting post:
My phone is rooted, so I haven't tested other solutions, but many users posted APKs for non rooted phones in this thread (quoted in post n1) and in post n2 there are all possible libgarminos files.Best condition to have it working fine is: rooted phone and install to sdcard. Other solutions can give problems with autorotation, battery and sat.signal icons.
But first try the file linked in post 286,users say it works with non rooted phones.
All the infos I could collect are in post n.1 and 2. Many others are disseminated in this thread, try to read it![]()

Hello everyone!
Firstly I would like to apologise for my english - I'm from Poland.
Secondly I would like to thank for this thread - I'm using Garmin's software and devices for many years so StreetPilot is priceless for me.
I've Motorola RAZR MAXX (XT910 GSM version) with rooted Jelly Bean (4.1.2 version).
I've followed with instructions from first page and StreetPilot ran successfully in 90%. What have I done?
1. I've downloaded and copied Garmin's archive to external SD card called in my phone as "sdcard1" (internal memory is called as "sdcard0").
2. I've downloaded and copied "City Navigator Eeurope" maps (2013.41 NT version with 3D, timezones maps with JCV file for 1xxxx devices) to ./System folder.
3. I've installed StreetPilot with goodoane's APK installer.
4. I've copied "libgarminos.so" file ("/Storage/sdcard1/Garmin" version) to "/data/data/com.Garmin.Android.apps.gmobilext/lib/" folder.
5. I've copied "libgmxt.so" file to "/system/lib/" folder and changed its read permissions to "user", "group", "other" and write permissions to "user".
Most things works great:
- i've installed extra languages (german, polish) and they works probably OK (I don't have already checked it for 100%).
- I don't have problems with battery indicator and GPS signal.
- I can see CNE maps and they are routable. Searching by addresses works good.
- I can see my POI and GPX points.
What doesn't work?
- when I'm restarting my phone StreetPilot loses basemap. I've observed that StreetPilot is creating "Garmin" folder in internal memory with "GarminDevices.xml" (or something like that) file after every Android's restart. Also every restart there is new "libgmxt.so" file in "/data/data/com.Garmin.Android.apps.gmobilext/lib/" folder. When I repeat 4th and 5th step (with deleting "Garmin" folder from internal memory) everything is OK.
- extra maps. I've been creating "Map" folder in "Garmin" in internal and external memory with gmapsupp.img ("TOPO Poland 2011" map) and gmapsup2.img ("UMP" map) files - sadly StreetPilot doesn't see my extra maps.
Any ideas what's wrong?
