Does anyone know exactly how the "Premium" advanced smartphone link service work? I have read two different things about the subscriptions. One place it said the prices are a "One Time" fee, and another place I saw it is an "Annual" fee.

I am wondering how the authorization for the premium weather, traffic etc work. You have to download the Premium service from your smart phone and NOT something you actually load onto the GPS unit. So I am thinking that the application you D/L to your Android phone is what "sends" or allows the information thru to your GPS unit.

If the Premium/Advanced service it is to be hacked... the hack must need to be made to the Android Application somehow.

There are some sites which cater to hacks of phone apps, but so far, I have not seen any hacks to the SmartPh0one premium/advanced services. Perhaps because they are not as widely used in the General population like weather apps, or games are used.

If anyone sees any hack for the premium services anywhere, please let us all know.
