US and EU variants of Alpha 100 use the same firmware and share the same HWID of 1562. Regional variations are made in the device at the time of manufacture and are quite independent of the firmware as they're tied to regionally allowed radio frequencies. Similar differences are done with the regional collars. You can obtain the latest version of Alpha 100's fw by going to the page linked in Post #1 above, right-clicking there and selecting "View Source" or similar (browser dependent). You can then copy the link to obtain the GCD file.
