It's not a trap of any kind, nor is it a 'fail' either by any previous poster. The information was posted way back in Sept 17 simply to advise ppl that the 2018.20 version was available to download from Garmin if your device was entitled to it. Nearly all current and recent automotive devices are LM, aka Lifetime Maps. It's moot now because 2020.30 is out anyway and several versions in-between since 2018.20.
