So it is partially supported on old Garmin devices and it is fully unsupported on oldest devices.

I do not think what this project will be profitable for both Garmin and Here. Rather it will be beneficial in strategical plan for both. Garmin will retain his authority on navigation devices market with map of sixth part of land. Here will get users from Russian Garmin community. It is not secret that the russian Garmin community is one of powerful and advanced user group of navigation devices. So it is significant power for correction and content filling of Russian Here map via its Map Constructor. It is seems to me you can to see this trend from beginning of 2017 due to rumor about new map based on Here.

As resume and claim! In Russia the most of Garmin devices were bought before 5 year ago. The oldest models were very good quality and it are in park of true connoisseurs of Garmin PND still. The older models are in park of most of the total mass because were bought in time of sales boom of automobile navigation PND. The modern devices is a small part of existing and used models due to financial crisis in the Russia (EURO and USD was growth a twice and it caused a double price in local currency against the background of falling living standards two times. I do not say that price for Garmin device that was sold on official market always was is not affordable in comparison with other countries). Summarize! The Here should listen to this inference and try to find a way out of this situation. May be this will be putting pressure on Carmin with aim of forcing a release of non-unicode version of this map. And may be the Here will be the first placed cartographic service in Russian heart
