Hi,
I'm new here. I just downloaded the topo. Problem is that the map stays locked in mapsource. If I open mapsource, a window appears with the message that topo Schweiz is locked. I generated a 25digit code with keygen 1.5, and inserted that in mapsource. But it is still locked. Maybe the problem is that I can just enter my unit ID in the keygen, and not the mapID (1395)? Which version of the keygen do i have to use. Another thing is that I have to select "software product" in the keygen. I can choose between "garmin mobile XT" and "garmin mobile PC". Which one I have to pick?
I hope you can help me with that...

you use 64Bit system of WIN7?
then you must change the reg file
open the reg file with editor an change two lines ( you must insert )
.....\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Garmin\......
before you run the new reg file you must delete the reg entry of the false file

Maybe i have a stupid Question but where can i change this? how i can open the Registery and insert this command? i have downloaded the Topo Swiss but due the Fact that i have a Acer Laptop with Windows 7 and 64bit.... maybe the Topo is still locked and the same i have for Spain (not identified but unlocked).

it workled the same way with other maps, but this didn't, does someone has a clue ?

Hello.
I use windows 7 32 bits.
I have MapSource 6.16.3 installed and Topo France V2.
in C:\Program Files\Garmin
I saw that the maps are here
C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps\TOPO France v2.gmap
Topo France V2 is unlocked and works fine.
I tried to installed Topo Schweiz/Suisse V2
I did exactly what it is written :
1) I copied FAM_1395 in c:\Garmin
2) I executed the .reg file
3) I opened MapSource and generated an unlock key with JM keygen using MapID and the DeviceID
MapID: 1395
That works fine: Topo Suisse V2 is unlocked
=> But no Suisse map appeared in MapSource
After used uninstall.bat, I installed FAM_1395 in C:\ProgramData\GARMIN\Maps
I modified the reg file accordingly.
After unlocked the map I have the same problem than before.
Suisse Map doesn’t appear in MapSource 6.16.3
Do you have an idea about this problem?
