you have been so helpful, but I am not understanding what options to select to create the unl file. IE: from the pull down there are not options that I see for the Visual G2 or Garmin GPSMAP marine devices. So I would assume I need to select one of the others to generate the necessary key after entering in the serial of the garmin unit. Could you tell me which one to select?

What I am trying to know is how I can lock down an unlocked map so that it can only be used in 1 GPS System. I have a Garmin GPSMAP 441S and I have the units serial #. But I do not know what options to use in the key generator so that I can create a unl file that I think is what I need to do. In the keymaker options there is no option for the GPSMAP (Or I just do not know which one to use for the Garmin Marine units G2 Visual) so I do not know what to generate. Could you direct.

Also, thanks to your help, I was able to copy an unlocked to the garmin folder on my new SD card and it worked fine. Then again thanks to your help I did my first unlock and test and it worked great. Now I want to copy and unlocked to a card and generate a unl so that it can only be used in said unit.

Finally, where on the forum should I post the Hotfile links for my unlocked map?
