Post here please your help request regarding Garmin

Hi everyone, I am using a UK Nuvi 1310, recently i installed the City Navigator Malaysia/Singapore in the Micro SD card. Then I went to the system --> settings --> maps to make sure the map is the only checked map. However when i try to search address a message comes out saying no map data available.

What is the problem..?

have you installed a locked map ? unlock img before copying in gps with
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
have you installed a gmaptool generated mapsource ? (no search with this kind of MS map in gps)

I download a unlocked img from the thread City Navigator Malaysia/Singapore (post 4) in this forum. sorry can't post up the link.
I am able to view the map and simulate a route with the map but cannot search address so weird..
Could it be that when transferring to the SD may have corrupted some data in the img..?

Post Code search facility gone. It was there last time I used the app but now it's like the old version that had no post code search. I get Country-city-house number-street. thats it, tried selecting different map (OS map) and then back to city navigator map but can't get the damn post code search back. Any one had the same thing and fixed it please stand up and walk to the front of the class.
