I have got a Garmin GPSMAP 188c sounder and would like to update the maps on it. I already got the Updated maps, but don't know how to update it to the unit/card. The unit memory is only 8 Mb, where as the whole map is 52 Mb. the card seems to be locked. Any help would be appreciated.

Where are tools to communicate with Garmin ANT devices? These are wireless products, so there is maybe a chance to be contacted via WLAN network cards?

hi...
i got a problem with installing "City Navigator EuropeNT 2010.20" downloaded from this forum
the device im using is Garmin nuvi 250 (u got : at top :p)
im already instaled "SCG Route 2.10NT" and "AdriaROUTE 2.30NT" also downloaded from this forum and after instalation i unlock them with "Garmin MapSource maps unlocker" and they work fine...
Now i downloaded and instaled "City Navigator EuropeNT 2010.20" but i cant unlock it with the same thing as other 2 maps...
i tryed other keygen "Jetmouse's Garmin Gen" but i dont know where to enter generated key, when i open MapSource SCG route and Adria route are unlocked but Europe is locked and only thing to press is Unlock online...
Searched to find a solution but wasnt sucesful... I dont know anything about instaling these maps and im a complete noob about this... i saw u all mentioning .img files and unl or smthing but dont know what to do with them...

if you download unlocked - GMAPSUPP.IMG you must just put it in your device,

you'll need your unit code and mapid . Copy gmapsupp.img and the gmapsupp.unl to the garmin directory, be caution to save the unlock file without txt extension or the map wont be unlocked
