hi, if i convert an .img file using the GMapTool and load it in mapsource, is that a fully functional mapset? In other words, if I can select maps, transfer them and search for pois, does that make it ok? I mean, I have not found any difference in sucha a map (compared to the "original" img) but I've red in some places that the generated mapsource files are not always good or lose some functionalities, is that true?

As I am a newbie at Mapsource I would need some help.
1. I have downloaded the 5 files for Swedish Friluftskartan, but all 5 have all families in them (543, 563-571. What would be the difference and how do I go about with these?
Which one(s) to install for which function?
2. Using 1 (of 5) files and the REG-file all images are registered under different (10) OMR (Omrade) directories.
How can I register them all under "Sweden" or at least the different "Friluftskarta packages" as happens with other Map-packages?
I feel a little dumb, asking all these questions....

Do you know what the differences are? Why are there 5 of them? I have never seen this before.
So I should create 5 directories under C:\Garmin and register each directory?

I have a problem and i was wondering if you can help me.
Cyprus as you know is not included on the mercedes map dvd.
I have the mercedes comand aps ntg1 europe map v. 8.0.
on the market i can find cyprus maps working for garmin for example.
BUT I CANNOT FIND BOTH in order to work on my mercedes in cyprus.

My question is that:

CAN I, SOMEHOW, HAVE BOTH MERCEDES MAPS AND CYPRUS MAP ON THE SAME DVD?
