I have installed GarminMobileXT v9 ...finally found it .sis file and installed it...i have evne d/l voice and installed that..so far so good....

Used jetmouse's keyg3n to get codes for unlocking and maps and made the .unl files definately not .txt files) and this is where things so wrong for me!

My phone is recognised as 'removable drive F' not E like you are stating..but i perservere and copy them both into the Garmin folder in F..not the Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe NT v9 folder.

I start up the application and all looks great except it cannot find my internal gps on my N95 8GB phone  and no maps so far...

Please i have no clue of what I am doing wrong!! Any advise that ive not been able to 'search' on here so far would be gratefully recieved!!

I think you are speaking about letter drive your pc shows and it can be E or F or G,that's depends on devices you have attached to your pc.
My post spoke about the letter E that symbian os assigns to your mc card in your phone os

    I explain drive letters in S60 :
C:\. This drive is also called phone memory. Basically it is a flash memory where we can install applications and store our data. Unlike memory card, it is always inside our phone. So, even if we remove the memory card, our data are still there. However, note that the size of phone memory is limited.
D:\. It is the drive used to store temporary files. The contents will be deleted when the device reboots. In many cases, we don’t use this drive.
E:\. It is the drive of your memory card. Normally, this is the place where we install applications and install our data.
Z:\. This is where the ROM image is stored. It contains all the operating system’s applications and data files. Since it is read-only memory, you cannot write anything. The only way to modify the contents of Z:\ drive is by flashing the phone, for example via Nokia Software Updater

    Yes, just name map 1 "GMAPSUPP.IMG", map 2 "GMAPSUP1.IMG", map 3 "GMAPSUP2.IMG"

Call the .UNL files the same e.g "GMAPSUP2.UNL" and have the corresponding map unlock code in there.

Dump all in "E:\Garmin\" and it should work fine

If garmin doesnt recognize internal gps it can be just the .txt file issue, control with xplore , not in windows.
