    Default Mapsource Cyprus

    Hi again,

I'm not sure how I can give anymore information. Your suggestions above are excellent but I cant find a way to view them in the mapsource program.

If you are not familiar with the mapsource program. Please download and read this pdf file and have a look.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

You will find you can plan routes and transfer maps you need as one file to your device. Much better than having several .img and .unl files on your device.

If you have found a way of putting your versions into mapsource I would love to hear how you do it.

Garmin devices such as the Garmin Nuvi range can only have 1 map .img file on there internal storage and 1 .img file on an optional SD memory card. Having several map files to join together and load onto the device is not impossible b ut not quick or user friendly.

Also with mapsource, you can plan a journey on your pc and transfer the route to your device. Hope all this is easy to understand. I'm sure all you SATNAV veterans understand what I mean..

    Tanks again

    Graham

PS Sorry I can not provide screenshots, I am on vacation and away from my symbian sync software.
