Thread: Garmin cyprus custom map 2008+cyprus map Geomatic +Cyprus routable Map Ver 9 (23/6/2009)

HELP !!! - I habe a Garmin Nuvi 250w and ive taken the following steps but when i start my garmin it keeps saying "Cant unlock maps"

Steps ive taken:

1. Downloaded "gmapsupp.img" (Garmin Cyprus) file and copied directly to the root folder of my Garmin with the other current "gmapprom.img" and "gmapbmap.img" files.

2. Used the "jetmouse garmin keygen" tool entered my 9 digit unit ID from the bottom back of my Garmin. Then selected "Custom Map" from the maplist and then entered a map ID of "1217" and generated a "map unlock code"

3. I then used the "garmin_unl creator.exe" to create the "gmapsupp.unl" from my unlock code and then pasted this file also to the root folder where the new .img is on my garmin device.

4. Started my garmin , i then get the "Cant unlock maps" screen , i then can only see my normal europe map.

What Have I missed ???
PLEASE HELP!!
