    Question

    hi
    I was so happy to see a smaller map of England but when I tried it on Garmin Nuvi 200 it did not work. I downloaded the map got the .unl file but when i go to settings to select this map from the device I do not see it as an option. Both the .img and the .unl are places in my garmin folder as I have done with several maps before but this time it does not work.
    Please, advise. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Please go here and download most recent map of UK/Ireland
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    All maps should be unlocked, so no need for .unl file

    hi midnight blues,
    already tried that but it does not work for my device
    after i copy the file to garmin folder i restart the device to go to seetings and choose the map and it is not there
    any other ideas

    Hi,

    Try to rename map to gmapprom.img and then copy to device (backup old before)
