That's interesting, never saw the Canadian map that way before. I guess the Canadian's demanded (ok requested) Garmin gives them those border states just in case they get lost. If you are using US map, I guess, you also wants Canada and Mexico (people do travel), therefore you'll buy North America map instead of sticking to US only. Does Garmin even sell US or Mexico map only?
