I guess you mean MiB not 'Kb' [which is kilobits] because D3192190A.jcv is 171,632,669 bytes [167,610 KiB or ~164 MiB]. Anyway D3192190A.jcv is the smaller sized split-screen file. All 2xxx can also use the larger D3191190A.jcv file [it's same picture size 212 x 234 pixel and file format as D3192190A.jcv] and is 508,703,260 bytes [~496,781 KiB or 485 MiB]. You most likely used the bigger file last time.

Anyone know which version(s) of JCV's will work with Nuvi765 (480x272)? Also which will work with Garmin Mobile XT on WinCE (320x240)?
(i) Yes, i do ...... I guess you also want to know, hey?Any of the fullscreen 480 x 272 pixel picture size files will work. Some of the split screen 212 x 234 files will also work [i.e. ones meant for 2xxx/3xxx wiil, but not D3836150A.jcv 212x234 for nuvi 30/4x/5x/SP], however they will show stretched to fit the screen and washed out looking because of lower resolution.
(ii) XT doesn't have the capability in firmware to display JCV.

Thanks mate. Do you know which would be updated by Garmin updater (what Garmin would use) for Nuvi765. As I remembered, something about using the same first 3 digits of filename?
At 866MB for "D3060200A jcv - LaneAssistFull" versus 275MB for "D3080200A.jcv - LaneAssistMedium", what am I loosing by using LaneAssistMedium?

From memory i recall that 765 is offered the large file, presently that's 'JCV_LaneAssistFull', D3060200A.jcv, which indeed has 866,660,352 byte size or ~866MB as you said. If you compare that to the 'JCV_Full-Screen' at only 26,384,935 bytes [D3153200A.jcv meant for small flash size 1xxx devices] and 'JCV_LaneAssistMedium' at 274,515,696 bytes [D3080200A.jcv] you can get a relative estimate of the amount of images available proportionally.
Have a look what's presently onboard and what 'name type' is listed in the GarminDevice.xml file, it'll probably be 'PreProgrammedLaneAssistFull' with a file name of D3060xxx0. But as i said even if it's got a smaller file loaded presently it can still use the large one anyway provided the map version and jcv file match. The *.JCV file names do tend to advance numerically with successive map versions by '10'. Read this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
